Today Evelyn is 3 weeks old - I can't believe how quickly these few weeks have gone by! As of last Monday, she is up to 9 lbs 3 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long (supposedly she was 21 3/4 inches at birth, so it makes you realize just how "accurate" the measurements are!) She's tolerating a little bit longer on her tummy every day and is getting better and better at holding her head up. This girl definitely takes after her daddy - she has an appetite that does not quit! Fortunately, unlike her dad, she doesn't treat hunger pangs like they are a matter of life or death.
She is so beautiful...just like her mama! Miss you guys!

ReplyDeletePS- Babies usually measure longer at birth because their heads are so molded after delivery (little coneheads) and round out after a day or two. I think Henry shrunk about 1/2 inch between his birth length and his first check-up :)
